CAR RENTAL POLICIES

Travel Restrictions

We allow vehicles to be driven within a 100 mile radius of San Diego county. Travel to mexico is permitted as far south as Ensenada as long as proper Mexican insurance is obtained. Mexican insurance is available through our rental office

Fuel

Please return the vehicle with the same fuel level as recieved. Vehicles returned with less fuel than recieved will be charged $3.50 /gallon and a $10.00 service fee.

Vehicle Return Times

Vehicles are to be returned by 5:30 p.m. mon-fri and by 2:00 p.m. on sat. Vehicles need not be returned at the same time as they were rented. After hours dropp offs are to be arranged in advance

Pickup and Delivery

We offer free pick up from San Diego airport and in the greater San Diego area within a 30 mile radius. Delivery to the same area is available but needs to be arranged in advance. Pickup of the vehicle after the rental is available as well but needs to be arranged in advance.

Cancellations

Please advise us of any cancellations 48 hours prior to your rental date. No shows and cancelations after this time may be subject to a charge

Debit Cards

Debit cards are accepted for rentals. However any rental with a debit card will be subject to a security deposit. 1 day to one week will require the cost of the rental plus a $200.00 deposit. Longer than 1 week will be charged the rental plus a $400.oo deposit. The deposit to be returned at the end of the rental. Aorry no cash depositis accepted

Vehicle Features

All cars are automatic with power steering and air conditioning. Other features vary. Please ask for details

All vans are automatic with a/c, full power features, electric windows and door locks. All have am/fm/cassette

International Renters

We welcome all international renters. International renters need to be 21 years of age or older. Must have a valid drivers liscense in their home country. Unless insurance is recognized in the state of ca international renters are required to obtain Ca basic insurance.

Age Requirements

Minimum Age: 21

All renters and drivers must be 21 years old and have a valid drivers liscense.

Additional Drivers

2 additional drivers permitted at no extra charge Minimum Age for Additional Drivers: 21

Driving Area

Some vehicles are not allowed outside LA or Orange county unless prior permission is authorized. See geograhic restrictions below. Please inquire which vehicles are permitted for out of area driving. Travel to Mexico is allowed with prior authorization and proper Mexican insurance.

Deposit Requirements

Cash deposits are not accepted. Becker Auto Rental accepts the following rental deposits: VISA, Master Card, AMEX, DiscoverDiners Club

Pick-ups and Drop-offs

No Charge Pick-ups and drop-offs within radius of 30 miles

Insurance Policies and Surcharges

Please bring proof of insurance. We do not at this time offer suplemental liability insurance. Only CA state minimum coverage limits apply to vehicles. CDW is available for the rates listed and has zero deductable

Collision Damage Waiver 115.00 per month ZERO DEDUCTABLE GPS 7.00 per day GPS UNITS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE RATE OF $7/ DAY $40/ WEEK AND $120/ MONTH

Geographic Restrictions

Local Car classification vehicles restricted to be driven in San Diego and Los Angeles Counties only. Travel Car classification vehicles allowed to be driven in the states of California, Arizona and Nevada. Travel to Mexico is limited to no farther south than Ensenada with either Local or Travel cars as long as proof of Mexican insurance with full coverage is provided to Becker Auto Rental prior to entering Mexico.
